SpecVertex

For industrial technical providers

Be visible when an industrial Buyer is actively looking for your capability.

SpecVertex is concentrating its P0 network around industrial materials, products, components and assets — especially testing, inspection & NDT, calibration and coatings / surface treatment. Providers participate in ordinary Buyer-funded sourcing without a referral commission by default.

P0 provider model

Free participation in Buyer-funded sourcing.

No listing fee

You do not pay to appear in a Buyer-funded sourcing search.

No referral commission by default

Provider participation is not conditioned on paying SpecVertex a percentage of the work.

No obligation to quote

Being contacted about a request does not require you to accept or quote the opportunity.

Direct Buyer relationship

If selected, you quote, contract and work directly with the Buyer under your own terms.

No implied endorsement

Inclusion as a potential Provider does not mean SpecVertex certifies or endorses your suitability.

Priority capability network

Where SpecVertex is building the deepest first layer.

CNC, fabrication and prototype manufacturing remain supported, but the initial Provider network is being built most deliberately around technical assurance services for industrial materials and products.

LAB

Testing laboratories

Materials, product, component, analytical and specialist testing capability

NDT

Inspection & NDT providers

Field and workshop inspection, NDT and specialist asset-assurance capability

CAL

Calibration providers

Defined instrument ranges, uncertainty requirements, on-site and accredited calibration capability

SURF

Coatings & surface treatment

Coating, finishing, preparation, corrosion-protection and specialist surface processes

How participation works

Relevant opportunities, not indiscriminate leads.

01

A defined industrial request is identified

SpecVertex starts from a Buyer-defined material, product, component or asset requirement and searches for potential independent Providers whose stated capability may fit.

02

You decide whether the opportunity fits

If contacted, you can review the non-confidential brief, clarify scope and decide whether you want to provide capability information or a quotation.

03

The Buyer chooses whom to engage

The Buyer evaluates suitability and contracts directly with the selected Provider. Your technical work remains under your own terms, scope and professional responsibility.

What makes capability useful

Specific limits are more valuable than broad marketing claims.

The network is intended to become a practical capability map. Being clear about what you cannot do is often as useful as listing what you can do because it reduces unsuitable enquiries.

1

A clearly described technical capability and service boundary

2

Relevant qualifications, accreditation or certifications where applicable

3

Materials, products, equipment or process limits you can and cannot handle

4

Geographic coverage, practical lead times and capacity constraints

5

Clear quotation inclusions, exclusions and assumptions

6

Responsive communication when a live opportunity is relevant

Current pilot status

Provider participation is request-led during P0.

SpecVertex is validating real Buyer demand and building the capability network around live sourcing requirements rather than trying to pre-enrol a large generic supplier directory.

If SpecVertex contacts you

Assess the opportunity and decide whether to participate. There is no obligation to quote, no public bidding requirement and no guarantee of work.

Separate service

Need SpecVertex to actively find customers for you?

That is a different engagement: Provider-side business development. It may be scoped separately for selected Providers and is not the default commercial model for Buyer-funded sourcing.

Any Provider-side commercial relationship is kept separate from ordinary Buyer sourcing and managed for conflicts where relevant.

Industrial provider interest

Have relevant technical capability?

Share a concise capability signal so SpecVertex knows what your organisation can do when a relevant industrial materials, product, component or asset request appears. Testing, NDT, calibration and coatings are the current priority network areas.

What this does not do: it does not create a public supplier profile, certify or endorse your capability, require you to quote, charge a listing fee or guarantee future opportunities.
