Information collected
SpecVertex may collect business contact details and non-confidential technical sourcing information submitted through the Buyer request and Provider capability forms, including names, business email addresses, company details, phone numbers where supplied, capability requirements, technical constraints, location, timing, accreditation preferences and Provider capability information.
How information is used
Information is used to assess whether a request fits the sourcing service, communicate about an enquiry, organise sourcing work, maintain an internal capability and request record, and improve SpecVertex's sourcing processes. Provider information may be used to assess potential fit for future sourcing requests.
Sharing with Providers
Submitting a Buyer request does not authorise Provider contact. Where a Buyer later accepts a written sourcing scope, information reasonably needed to seek Provider interest or quotations may be shared with candidate Providers. SpecVertex aims to limit that disclosure to what is reasonably necessary for the sourcing task.
Service providers and storage
SpecVertex uses third-party technology services to host the website, process form submissions, send operational notifications and store records. Those providers may process information in Australia or other jurisdictions under their own infrastructure and contractual arrangements. SpecVertex does not intentionally request sensitive personal information through the public forms.
Do not submit confidential technical files
Do not submit confidential drawings, formulations, trade secrets, security-sensitive information or sensitive personal information through the public forms. Secure document exchange can be arranged separately if a request progresses.
Access, correction and deletion enquiries
For a privacy enquiry relating to information you submitted, email hello@specvertex.com.au or use the Contact page. Reasonable requests to access, correct or delete records will be assessed subject to applicable legal, operational and record-keeping requirements.
This notice describes the current SpecVertex website and sourcing service. Engagement-specific confidentiality, data handling and contractual obligations may be set out separately in an accepted sourcing scope or other written agreement.
