Website purpose
The website describes a B2B technical capability sourcing service and allows prospective Buyers and Providers to submit information for initial review. Website content is general information only and does not itself create an engagement, guarantee that a request will be accepted, or require a Provider to participate.
No technical, legal or regulatory determination
SpecVertex's ordinary sourcing role is to help identify and clarify potential independent Providers against criteria supplied or confirmed by the Buyer. Website content and sourcing activity do not determine what legal, regulatory, engineering or technical requirement should apply, and do not constitute certification, approval or endorsement of a Provider.
Buyer responsibility
The Buyer remains responsible for confirming its requirement, evaluating Provider suitability, deciding whether to obtain independent technical, legal or regulatory advice, selecting a Provider and entering into any Provider contract. Provider quotations, representations and work remain subject to the Provider's own terms and professional responsibility.
Provider participation
A Provider may decline an opportunity and is not required to quote. Inclusion in a sourcing search or capability record does not imply endorsement, approval, certification or guaranteed future work. Ordinary Buyer-funded sourcing does not require a Provider referral commission by default.
Paid sourcing
Submitting a public form is an initial enquiry only. Where a request fits, any paid sourcing work begins only after the Buyer accepts a separate written sourcing scope, fee and applicable commercial terms. Those engagement-specific documents take priority over general website descriptions if there is an inconsistency.
Information accuracy and availability
SpecVertex may rely on public information and information supplied by Buyers and Providers. Capability, accreditation, availability, pricing and other information can change. The website may be changed, suspended or unavailable, and no representation is made that every Provider or capability in the market is identified.
Acceptable use
Do not submit unlawful content, misleading information, sensitive personal information, confidential trade secrets, security-sensitive material or information you are not authorised to disclose through the public forms. Automated abuse, scraping intended to disrupt the service, or attempts to bypass website security controls are not permitted.
Privacy
Use of submitted information is described in the Privacy notice.
These are website-level terms, not a substitute for engagement-specific legal documents. Formal sourcing engagements use the separate written scope and commercial terms provided for that assignment.
