You define the requirement
Provide the test method, standard, drawing, inspection method, calibration range, coating process or other technical service, together with the material, product, component or asset involved.
How industrial technical sourcing works
SpecVertex is designed for the gap between knowing what technical work is required and knowing which independent organisation can actually perform it.
Primary domain
Industrial materials & products
Who pays SpecVertex
The Buyer, by default
Final Provider decision
Always yours
Provide the test method, standard, drawing, inspection method, calibration range, coating process or other technical service, together with the material, product, component or asset involved.
We check whether the industrial requirement is sufficiently defined for sourcing. If the underlying technical, regulatory or engineering requirement itself still needs to be determined, that sits outside this sourcing intake.
If the request fits, we provide a written Buyer-funded sourcing scope and fee. No Provider is contacted and no sourcing fee is incurred until you accept it.
Primary P0 focus is testing and laboratories, inspection & NDT, calibration and coatings / surface treatment, with CNC, fabrication and specialist manufacturing available where relevant.
Where practical, you receive organised information such as stated capability, accreditation or qualification, process limits, quotation status, lead time, location and unresolved questions.
You decide whether a Provider meets your project needs. The selected Provider contracts with you directly and performs the work under its own terms, quality systems and professional responsibility.
After a successful introduction
You can continue dealing directly with an introduced Provider. SpecVertex does not need to sit in the middle or collect an ongoing commission on ordinary repeat work.
When the next sourcing problem appears
The next need may be another test method, an inspection technique, a calibration range, a coating process, a backup source or specialist manufacturing capability.
Responsibility boundary
The sourcing layer helps reduce capability-discovery friction. It does not move the underlying technical, legal or professional responsibility away from the Buyer or independent Provider.
Already have a defined industrial technical requirement?
No Provider is contacted and no sourcing fee is incurred merely because you submit the intake form.
